2 iPad 2s. 1 Email shows Trash. 2 Shows Archive box?

To elaborate on the subject, I own 2 iPads 2's. On iPad 2 #1, when I select an email to read, I see a "Trash Can" icon on the top making it easy to just delete. On iPad 2 #2, when I select an email to read, I DONT see the "Trash Can" at the top, I see an "Archive Box" at the top. So I have to go through 2-3 steps to "Trash" the email if I want to just dlete it.

Probably some setting somewhere but I sure can't find it! HELP please.... Thx.

Gmail has a setting that allows you to archive as opposed to deleting emails - if you go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select the account on the right-hand side of the scrren then you should be able to change it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4207

This must not be an opttion if you sewt GMail up using Exchange rather than Gmail. I use Exchange so Contacts sync as well. And don't find that option.
