So, my brand new 3-day old iPhone 5 started to have the voice dictation button grayed out in the calendar app. It worked fine in messaging app, and Siri works fine. Just could not use VoiDict in the calendar app. Powered off the phone and powered back on (didn't even do a reset) and now it works. Buggy?

I have had several customers come into my store with a similar issue. The keyboard voice dictation doesn't function sometimes, wether its Notes/Calendar/or what, but it will consistently work in Messages. A quick power cycle will usually fix this issue, but only temporary.

This continually has happened on the original iPhone as well as a replacement I received (due to the mic cutting off during calls.) Occurs in all apps that I want to use voice dictation. The solution that works every time is to simply terminate (close) the app and reopen it.
