Can I find my lost iphone from a friend's iphone?

I lost my iphone but can't access icloud because I only have os10.6.8 on my old mac. Can my friend find my phone with his iphone? How?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Safari 5.1.2

If you had fmi turned on before your phone was lost, then yes. Your friend needs to have the fmi app installed on their phone. Open the app and input your iCloud info to log into your account. It will then find your phone provided...

It is turned on.

It is in an area with cell or wifi signal.

Whoever has it was not smart enough to turn fmi off.
