There are some locked items in the Trash. Do you want to remove all the items, including the locked ones, or just the unlocked items?
Options are Cancel, Remove Unlocked Items and Remove All Items
I've tried the second and third options but the trash still shows 8,888 items that cannot be deleted. How can I remove these? They are taking up a lot of space!
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
try shift+opt+apple+backspace
or
use terminal and go to files that You can't delete from finder. delete them with:
rm -f *
or, if You want to delete folder(s) with its content, use:
rm -Rf *
BUT FIRST, BE SURE THAT YOU ARE IN FOLDER WHERE THE FILES ARE (it should be .Trash folder)
THERE ARE SOME LOCKED ITEMS IN THE TRASH.
