Cannot access Java based games(Yahoo bridge) since last software upgrade. Help!

Since my last software upgrade I cannot access my online Yahoo Bridge site because of some Java problem (Java Applet does not run). This hobby is important to me and I will switch back to Windows (under protest) if nescessary. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

At Java Update Oct 2012 Yahoo games issue people are gathering with multiple problems. Come join us there. FWIW, BDAqua, One can NOT disable Java in the browser settings and even get as far in as the problem otherwise lets you. I have written multiple times to Yahoo and to Java and I do have a response asking for more information from the Java people, who of course are more concerned than either Yahoo or Apple.

Problem Solved ! I had the hard drive wiped and reinstalled Snow Leopard so will no longer have to deal with the disaster currently called Mountain Lion or Apple's unwarranted intrusions into my use and control of my own property. The 17" Toshiba Sarelitte I got as a backup for $600 is also a 1st since I had never owned a Windows machine in my over 30 years of Apple use. The Apple for showing me the light 🙂
