can I make stills shorter than .1 second

in iMovie I want to create a time lapse effect, but I have a lot of pictures and want it to move really fast...but the shortest time seems to be .1 second...does anyone know if there is a shorter time possible?

iMovie '11, iOS 6

iMovie is not really designed to do Time Lapse well. There are other tools like QuickTime Pro and iStopMotion that are much better.

However, it is possible. You can get 1 frame of video per slide.

With your photo in the project, set the thumbnail slider to .5 seconds. Select one frame by dragging your mouse. Then Command-C to copy and Command-V to paste the 1 frame selection. Finally delete the original photo.
