If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Cheers, Tom 😉
Follow toms link. If there is no update software option in your settings/general then you are pre ios5. The update wirelessly feature was added on ios 5. Plug into iTunes on computer....
Texas....not toms ha...just woke up :)
Also, if by wirelessly you mean over cellular that may be part of the issue. Cellular has limits of 20-50 megs and if that update is larger than that it won't work.
Wifi is your best bet for wireless updating
Assuming that you are running iOS 5 like your profile is showning and you have the capability to update via WiFi... It would be helpful if you explained what you mean by "is not letting me wirelessly".
Are you getting an error message, does the download start and then stall? You really need to provide some more information.
