"The update was not successful" when trying to Update Software on my Apple TV

After downloading for 40+ minutes, it went into step 1 and came back with "The update was not successful". I have it connected via network cable and not wi-fi. Is there another way to update that will get me from 5.0.2 (4250) to version 5.1?
