so i'm trying to install this an no disc to install too shows up.
What do i do?
I Have tried waiting and it doesnt work?
i get to the stage where it ask you which disc to install too but there are none available.

Are/is these/this a new drive(s) that need Formatting first?

(To Install OSX on an IntelMac the Drive it needs the GUID Partitioning scheme mentioned at the bottom.)
Thanks to Pondini, Formatting, Partitioning, Verifying, and Repairing Disks...
I followed the steps to partition/ format the hardrive but i can only get as far as where it tells you to use the drop down menu to select the number of volumes.
I cant go any further because it stays greyed out.
any other ideas ?
Also if this helps , this is the initial install
Did you erase it first to Mac OS extended?
I have the problem listed in the above article, i have waited more than a few minutes and it still wont work
