I am sharing an i-tune account with another user and I want to have my own. All was good until everything started getting shared in the cloud. How do I stop one account so I can add another?

Go into appstore/music on your phone, scroll down till you see yur apple id, tap on it, then sign out. Then create your new apple id and sign back in.
You need to create your own Apple ID/iTunes account.
All apps, all paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account or Apple ID used to download the apps, and the same for any other iTunes content downloaded with the Apple ID that includes DRM protection. Long story short, when downloading an app update for an app that was downloaded with the shared Apple ID, you must use that Apple ID and password to download the update.
