rMBP sometimes low fps

Hi there,

this problem is probably Boot Camp related but also maybe Macbook Pro...

Sometimes when I boot into Win8 and open up a game i got only 17/18 fps. No matter what detail setting or resolution. When I restart this problem won't go away. Instead I have to reset SMC to solve it and to run it with full fps.

So this could be a Win8 issue because of the new UI-acceleration but also a rMBP issue because the clocks of the GPU stay low most of the time (at around 300-600 Mhz instead of 900/1254 while on load) - but constantly drawing 18fps at max, no matter what game. And also because I have to reset SMC to solve it temporarily.

What is really annoying is, that this happens 50% of all Win8 boot-ups. So I have to constantly reset SMC before booting Win or live with the 50/50 chance.

Has somebody ever experienced this as well?

Driver is the Bootcamp one (296...), but I got this also with the latest one which is also way slower than the 296.

I would be very thankful for every support or hints on this issue.
