I can't pair my lmp numeric keyboard to my macbook

I just bought the LMP numeric keyboard and when I try to pair it, my Mac says that "The device does not have the necessary services". This is the product that I was sggested to buy by an applestore salesassitant last week.

Is there any reason for this message? Did Apple provide any answer for the inconvenient generated by a product they sell?
