The sound of the keyboard is lost when upgrading to ios6, some solution?

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
That's a standard first troubleshooting technique.
I turned off the iPad , but the problem persists
To to "Settings", go under "Sounds", and at the very bottom, make sure "Keyboard Clicks" is turned on.

Make sure that the sound off/on swith on the side of the ipad is on (in up position, no orange dot showing)
Simply turning off the ipad usually does not produce the same results as holding down both the 'home' and 'sleep/wake' buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen.
After trying that, and the problems stll persists then....
go to: Settings/general/reset/reset all settings
(this step will require you to add some info to set up the ipad again such as your wifi access settings, but no data or media will be lost)

I think that they should care more for upgrades of the os.
