can"t find the migrated data from pc to iMac? help

I used migration assistant to migrate my PC pic and other files to my new I mac, it said migration completed but now I can not seem to find the data anywhere on my Imac. I also have no idea what community to post in so since this is a brand new computer I will post in the OS Lion community. PS what does this stuff mean too?
