Can't delete greyed "ghost songs" from my iPhone. Need help!

I recently got a new iPhone 4s and I tried to sync all of my songs from my iTunes account I had with my iPod tough but when I tried it I gave me an error message, and the. When I went to the song it has all of the sings but they are greyed out and they can't play. It will not let me delete them in settings nor can I delete them from the library. I don't want to restore my iPhone already, so what can I do?
