Error 60 Operation timed out. What does this mean and can you help?

Seems my airport is not working (direct connect is fine) I got a message in my antivirus software that reads- path: /net/localhost infection details:Error 60 Operation timed out. What does this mean and can you help?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

I do not use Airport.

/net/localhost is empty on my Leopard.

I suspect that either Airport is misconfigured or your anti-virus software is causing a problem.

Does Airport work with anti-virus turned off?
