I'm looking for this article regarding the "No valid packages" error message when attempting to repair permissions.

Currently this link just goes to the basic support page. The article may be old, so no longer available online.

If anyone has a cached or archived copy of this article I would really appreciate it.

(My mac mini became unbootable yesterday after I downloaded the system update. Disk Utility says the disk is fine, there is nothing to repair. But I can't repair permissions.)

Any help appreciated.
