If you use Avery labels, they have a ton of templates available: they also have a free app - Design Pro - which does a remarkably good job of letting you design labels using Avery product templates: even though it's only supported up to 10.6.x, I'm still using it on Mountain Lion.
But as you've already purchased a 3M product, I would Google for a Word document template, for instance, to use to populate and print the labels. If all else fails, you might be able to return the 3M labels and purchase Avery.

You can make a document in your favorite word processor shaped like the two-up four tall labels sheet and type a name in the center of each of the eight boxes on the screen.
