The book that downloaded is not the correct book. Cover is correct but the book is a completely different book.
There'll lots of examples of people downloading the wrong book. But it was often cockpit error.
This is Apple's fault.
How do I get apple to correct it.

Have you tried deleting the book from iBooks and re-downloading it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app ? If it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

I have reported the problem as suggested. Here's hoping for a resolution soon.

I have the same problem, I downloaded a series of 3 books from the same author, 2 are find, the 3rd has has the right title, the right author, the contents are something else. Deleting from ibooks is useless as it simply reloads it from the iCloud. If Apple do not give me a solution I was simply never buy any books from them ever again
