Can't access iTunes Store

I can't access it either...not even to search or make a purchase.
Sounds like everyone is having the same problem as I. Just couldn't find any other recent posts about this. Sure wish someone from Apple could post a note so we know when to try back again. This happened to me a few days ago, and now it seems like a solid shut down, so it's nothing I can fix from my end.
Me to, I purchased a movie via Apple TV, when I tried to access it, I get told "Apple TV can't connect o the server at this time. Please try later, I have been trying for the past week!!!!
I contacted Apple, a very helpful guy called Brendan told me to look at the ports that are available to Apple TV, shown here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2463?viewlocale=en_US, I put a line in the router telling it to forward ports 3689 and 5353 to the Apple TV, now it's sorted, not Apples fault. It appears that the ports were restricted by the router.
Thanks for sharing this, I've been with out apple tv for a month call email the tech support and they didn't help at all. Now I have my apple tv back
Sorry, but this is a bit beyond me. Can you help me resolve this with an Airport Extreme?
