Can't access iTunes Store

I Bought a movie. Now when I try and play it on Apple TV it says it can't connect to iTunes Store. Server is down

I contacted Apple, a very helpful guy called Brendan told me to look at the ports that are available to Apple TV, shown here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2463?viewlocale=en_US, I put a line in the router telling it to forward ports 3689 and 5353 to the Apple TV, now it's sorted, not Apples fault. It appears that the ports were restricted by the router.
