I have a MacBook pro that is 4 or 5 years old and I have been synching my iPhone and iPad to it for some time and downloading photos to iPhoto. Now I have a new MacPro (big guy) and I want to move all my photos, etc. from the MacBook to the MacPro. Is there anyway to easily move them?

You can use the Mac Migration Assistant to move them from one machine to another. Here's a reference to the instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4413
That would work if I had not loaded my Paris vacation pictures on the new machine. I need to merge the old machine's pictures into the new iPhoto. Is there a way or app that will do that for me?
