Purchasing movies on Apple TV in Ireland

This article says its possible to purchase movies with an ATV 2 in Ireland. However the buy button does not appear. Even for movies that I can buy on my iPad. So it means movies only available for purchase and not rent can only be previewed.

Is this a bug in iOS 5.1?
