I need help I don't know what I need to do nor how to do it! I am clueless on updating my iPod touch. I check on iTunes for updates available and it tells me there's none but I'm using an other version 4.13 and really want ios6 please help me out! thanks.

If there are no updates available then that means your iPod is too old to update. It's probably a 1st gen (maximum iOS 3.1.3) or 2nd gen (4.2.1). No way around this.

There is no iOS 4.1.3. If it's using iOS 3.1.3, 4.2.1, or 5.1.1 and iTunes says that no further updates are available, it's running the highest iOS version it can.

Thanks for all your help. I should've never restored it to factory settings.... since then I cant dwonlad any of the games I loved playing. guess its time to buy a new one. 🙂
