iPhoto won't import from mail

Question

iPhoto won't import from mail

For some reason, I can't seem to import pictures from mial into iPhoto. Running the latest software.

Correct. It's a known issue with the lastest builds. Workaround: drag the photos from the email to the iPhoto icon on the dock. Then report the bug to Apple

iPhoto menu -> Provide iPhoto Feedback

The more folks that do, the better the chances of a fix.

This is a bug in Mt. Lion, see:

Mountain Lion: May be unable to save from Mail directly to iPhoto

As a work-around: Ctrl-click the photo attachments and send them to iPhoto with "Open with > other > iPhoto" instead of "Export to iPhoto" or drag them to the iPhoto icon in the Dock or to the Desktop.
