No volume from clicker either. Any ideas why or have similar issues?

If a complete restore does not resolve the issue, we can be almost 100% certain that the issue is hardware related meaning you'll need to have the iPod repaired or replaced either by Apple or a third party service. A restore would have ruled out the possibility of a corrupted software or any sort of glitch.

Am unable to get any volume from this gifted ipod. Everything else works except the clicker and the volume wheel. Went through the reset/reinstall trick but still no sound either with earbud or from docking station. Any ideas?
