Oracle Java version 7

Hi

Guys

After I upgraded my Macbook Pro to the latest java of Oracle Java ver7 update 9 I am stuck.

I cannot luanch oracle from on an ERP V12 installation gettling the following error:

FRM-92095: Oracle JInitiator version too low.

I have try to follow the links to deinstall Java 7 and reinstall java 6.

The problem after this is the browser keep on say plugging missing and took you to the site to reinstall java 7 upgrade 9.

Please help.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. In addition to what is described above, the issue prevent me from loading the plugin on Google Chrome. On Safari and Firefox, the applet windows does show up but it errors with that message "

FRM-92095: Oracle JInitiator version too low".

It took me few hours to find the below link. But this solved the issue.

Got my ERP R12 back up and running.

This solve my problem.

I did the following base on note http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5559

sudo mkdir -p /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/disabled

sudo mv /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/disabled

sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle/Contents/Resources/JavaPlugin2_NPAPI .plugin /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin

sudo ln -sf /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Commands/javaws /usr/bin/javaws

Still did not Work Then I tried

ln -sf /System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle/Contents/Resources/JavaPlugin2_NPAPI .plugin $HOME/Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin

thanks a lot! it just works, but you MUST choose only allow,DONOT choose always trust checkbox.

It will show plugin error if you choose the checkbox.
