iPod nano 7g battery life

Received iPod nano 7g this week. Extremely Disappointed with the battery. Lasts only 2 -3hours playback time from full charge. Any solution for this?

Why you take this link so personal sounds like you have more issues than just ipods! It's also not about you *** clown, it's about your stupid test that proves nothing because no one I know would just let an ipod sit without using the functions on it! Why in **** do they have fast forward, reverse ,pause, double click to move into next song and others on it to not be used? It also sounds like your an employee of apple with your test of letting an ipod just sit running without using it at all! (again who does that?) As for ipods there are a lot of people out there that have this same problem and if apple does nothing about it that just shows that they're not being responsible and will lose a lot more customers if this situation doesn't get fixed. Its real simple...

I've been noticing some quick battery draining on mine as well, it's not any drastic draining but it definitely isn't the thirty hours they say it is, I've gotten maybe 8-10 hours of music and about 2 hours of video, ive restarted it and everything but nothing seems to work, I might just take it to my local apple store and see what they say about it

There are a few other things that I've recently noticed about my iPod besides the poor battery life, it has some odd pixelization just around the edge of the display, it's very noticeable when I watch movies on it and not as much when it's just on the home screen but it's still there. The build quality of this device isn't what I expected, and I don't know about anyone else's nano, but the home button isn't even flush with the glass on mine, I know that just a small detail but it is annoying. It works like it should (aside from the battery issue) as in it plays music, videos, etc. but this device almost doesn't stand up to Apples dedication to quality and attention to detail like its other devices before this one.

Well i have to say my battery life is much better now. The only thing i did was let my battery drain all the way dead and then charged it up ( also while draining i notice the battery bars are not religable my ipod had way more life to than what i thought...it drained in about 8-10hrs). i use my iphone 5 wall charger, so i dont know if that played a part as well. But it works just fine now.
