Q: i can veiw a ppt file included in an e-mail on i pad but it will not open in i mac???

Can anyone advise me how I can print an e-mail attatchment in ppt file format that i can veiw on i pad but not on i mac please?

Instructions need to be in idiot proof form lol, many thanks

A:

You can't open .ppt files with iPhoto. You need to use the apps that are designed for that, like Keynote or Powerpoint. Try the free OpenOffice.

What happens when you try to view it? Do you have Keynote or Powerpoint on your iMac?

It asks me if I want to save in I photo but when I do it's just a black box, I don't have keynote or PowerPoint, think i might need Microsoft office but not paying £90 for one attachment lol, I've sent a request to see if they can resend in apple format? :-)
It opens ok on I pad but don't have wi fi set up on printer, that seemed like another complicated job lol!
