Canceling a purchase

Question

My kids were able to purchase a game on the App Store for 49.99 and it never asked for a password how can I cancel it ?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 6

All sales are final the moment you click buy.

You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception

Contatc support. I fthis is your first accidental purhcase then they might refund it as an exception:

You said your device did not ask for your password before the purchase. It's probably tirned off:
