I have imac os10.5.8. Do not have tiger snow leopard or mountain lion.
I had a web site on mobile me, was told at the store to order a snow leopard cd online to upgrade,
then upgrade to mountain lion. I can not find snow leopard?
Any suggestions

Hi, iWeb has been discontinued by Apple.
First you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.

Looks like your iMac does support Mountain Lion. Call Apple to order Snow Leopard. Get that up and running, use Software Update to get to 10.6.8 and then use the Mac App Store to download Mountain Lion.
Besides the good advice so far, I'd really consider upping it to 6 GB of RAM...
