Game Center doesn't allow me to log in to my account.

Hello Apple Support forums!

I am contacting you guys to ask if anybody has any ideas about fixing the error message that's not letting me log in to my Game Center account.

The error window pops up and says, "The requested operation could not be completed because local player is already authenticating". Anyone know a fix for this, as I was just planning to use GC for the first time and it doesn't work. Now, I am a pretty computer savvy person, and I tried checking to see if my password was correct, and it was. I also tried to see if there were any updates for GC. Also checked my iPod, and it works there, but I wanted it on my Mac too.

Any solutions are more than welcomed!😎

MacBook Air (13-INCH, MID 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

try this,,,,,,

this worked for me..

1. go to "go" section at the top of the screen.

2. from there, open "go to folder".

3. In "Go to folder" ,type this "/private/etc/" and press "go".

4. so when you reach the folder open the folder called "etc".

5. then from that folder search for a file called "hosts".

6. simply drag that folder to the desktop.

7. from the desktop open the folder and look for these two lines "

127.0.0.1	crl.verisign.net
127.0.0.1	CRL.VERISIGN.NET.*

8. you have to change that two line into this

#127.0.0.1	crl.verisign.net
#127.0.0.1	CRL.VERISIGN.NET.*

9. then save the file and put the file back to the "etc" folder,just replace it....

Then you are done....

You just need to sign in your acount with any IOS device (Iphone-Ipod-Ipad) ... It would definitely works ...
