unable to switch-on to my iphone-3g

I connected iphone with PC. PC not repsonds in Iphone connection. Then i checked iphone was switch off. Now, i am unable to switch on.

please help on this. i clicked home button and sleep off/on buttons. not responds.

iPhone 3G, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
