Different vendors (e.g., Apple, cellular carriers) use very different boxes to enclose the Apple box for shipping, so the weight will vary.

Hi, just a quick question of my own,

Do Apple ever send the iphone 5 out in anything other than the original tall boxes when bought new. I have bought an iphone on eBay which was listed as brand new and it has been sent in a postal box without headphones and charger, to which the seller said Apple sent him it in that box. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated
