Can I turn off a geofence that someone else put on me?

I would like to turn off a geofence that was put on me.

I have tried this:

1. selected "Me" on the home screen
2. scroll down to "followers"
3. selected the person with the geofence icon (little empty triangle)
4. it says "...will be notified the next time I leave..." under that, I see: email, "remove from followers" and "stop following"
5. I do not wish to "remove from followers" or "stop following"
6. all I would like to do is remove the geofence that was put on me.
7. I don't know if I'm suggesting this to the right peopel, but could there be an upgrade with that option? Just add, "remove geofence" with the "remove from followers" and "stop following" options.
