What is wrong with my Calendar? Calendar Error Message: CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation

I have no idea what happened, but when I signed in to the WIFI on my campus I got this message on my MacBook from Calendar. "The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed."

Then I noticed I was missing events in my Calendar on my iPhone. Then when I got home I started having the same problem with my iMac.

I exported the Calendar archive and then re-imported it and that fixed it for a few minutes, but then while I was trying to get the iPhone to download everything from iCloud is started doing the same thing again, on both my MacBook and my iMac.

iCloud is messing up and I am not sure why

I have 5 different calendars on iCloud. Everything has worked perfect since the I bought this iPhone 4s last year. I didn't change any settings, but for whatever reason it cannot connect.

I am using Mountain Lion 10.8.2 on both computers and iOS 6.0 on the iPhone 4s

Any ideas?

I actually was on the phone with support for two hours last night--seems they are dealing with similar cases. They had me download a bit of data for them to survey and said it will be a few days. Will report back with any findings.

A quick thing to be aware of: one support tech was going to have me reset my password and wipe all my iCal data, claiming "it's all in the Cloud." I had to remind him my computer hasn't successfully synced with the cloud in three weeks, and the only complete data set is on my computer. I then had to log into icloud.com and confirm for him my iCal there was NOT the same as my computer's. Um, duh.

So, be sure to export each and every calendar if you're going to do a wipe/clean start/turn off iCloud. Just hit control and then click the calendar name (basically, a right-click) and export each calendar if you want to save your data. You can re-import it later.

I was on the phone also with Support. I have no problem on iCloud or iPhone. Buy my iMac and new Macbook Air get the same message: The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed. There appears to be an issue with Mac OS 10.8 and above especially for those users who upgraded using the App Store. I have been told to do a wipe and reinstall which I am loath to do given the the hassle of setting this up all again. Apple are clearly not fessing up to the fact they have a problem between iCloud and iCal on the latest OSX. We await a resolution I guess. I'm reverting to Google Calendar for now. iCloud is too ropey for me.

Curious. Do others here have both a .me and .mac account as their appleID (both connected due to the drop of @mac.com years ago)?

I have a .mac apple id which then was .me. Both are active and connected. In 'manage your apple id' it shows that the me.com address is my alternate appleID. I believe my phone was setup with @me and my says @mac.com. Wondering if that's the problem.

Here's something funny. Well,... not really. So I've had this problem for months now like many others here. The other day my wife updates to iOS 6 and by mistake she enters in my apple ID (which we share for itunes purchases) as her icloud account or whatever on the phone.

Of course the calendar sync decided it should work at that moment and it synced down all of her calendars down to my mac. Besides that mess though, my calendar suddenly decided to also work and sync with my phone. Thought it was fixed.

She changed fixed her phone to use the correct apple ID. Now I can't sync my mac calendar again:)

Great news: after days and hours of being on the phone with support, Apple engineering has resolved the issue. Support just called me--I turned my iCloud calendar back on (I had it off for the past couple weeks) and it merged with my computer's data, no problem. No errors. Everything is now syncing to my phone, iPad, and icloud.com. Halle-freaking-lujah, mama is back in bizness! Hope you can say the same.

I had this problem yesterday but it seems I've fixed it now.

I was using the calendar on my imac and it was syncing perfeclty with my iphone, and then I went to delete an old calender and the problem began. There was a little grey tirangle with an exclamation point next to the iCloud title.

When I was checking the settings, I realised I had changed my apple id login a few weeks ago, and when I looked at the icloud login settings, it still had my old email - I've had this problem with a few other programs, like iTunes and the App Store.

In order to change the login details I had to turn off the iCloud service, which would remove all the iCloud data from the computer. It lets you store any iCLoud contacts, but not the Calendar data. Luckily I had only been using Calendar for an hour or so after having the error message, so there wasn't really anythign I'd loose - this is probably going to be a different situation for those who have had the problem for days or weeks and continued to work.

I singed out of iCloud, and sugned back in with my updated login details, and all my iCloud data was back in a few seconds.

It is strange that I changed my iCloud details a while ago, and it had been working since, but maybe there is a delay, or a grace period for this. Fo those with old @me.com or similar, maybe this is the problem.

Hi,

I would be interested in a solution to tdevitt's problem, too. I have the same while trying to delete an old calendar from a iCal Server with error #403:

Antwort des Servers:

„403“

an Vorgang CalDAVCalendarSplitDualTypeCalendarQueueableOperation

in english:

The server responded with

“403”

to operation CalDAVCalendarSplitDualTypeCalendarQueueableOperation

I had a similar problem with my Calendar and I found that if I tried deleting a list from Reminders on my Macbook it would go away temporarily but when I re-opened Reminders I would see the list again and in some other places the list would multiply such as in the calendar. So, instead of deleting the reminder list from Reminders on my Macbook I deleted the list on my iPhone and for some reason that deleted the list from anything using it and my Calendar was happy again.
