After updating to 10.7.5 my (2007) macbook's tochpad has locked on the left button. now i find myself incapable of working. any mouse i connect has the same problem, so it is not related to the hardware. must be a glitch in the version, what should i do?

I am also having mouse problems with my mid-2010 Mac Pro since I updated to 10.7.5, along with a number of other issues as well. My Wacom tablet is also not working properly, and the whole system is running very slowly, with lots of freeze ups. The computer worked flawlessy before the update, so I believe 10.7.5 is to blame!

i have the same problem, too. Mac OS X 10.7.5 (11G63), when connecting powerbook to external cinema display, the built-in trackpad doesn't work anymore, however, the external intellimouse works. i'm not aware of a new apple-update which could have placed this bug, but expect immediate fixing of this annoying problem, because a today's computer without working mouse-interface is not of much value....
