My iphone 5 screen cracked/smashed over the weekend , the phone still works along with everything on the phone. So would just like to know how much apple charge to replace the screen ? Also is it covered by apple as I have only had the phone for 15 days ?

If you bought Apple care + 15 days ago the replacement cost is $49. If you didn't the cost is $229 for a replacement.

yes. The price is roughly the GBP equivalent of $229
£169 and there is no Applecare Plus in UK

I have a simple no name hard case covers back an sides similar to a Snugg
but has correct cut out to accomodate the Lightning to 30 pin adapter
( which snugg doesn't )

they charged him what every one posted above and they replaced the phone
They charge £179 they don't fix the screen they will just give you a brand new iPhone for that fee
Even if you have applecare, they do not cover "accidental damages," so, you're looking at an over $200.00 repair or replacement.
