I'm not able to enter the serial# from Apture 2 in my new MacBook Pro

pro it says the serial# is wrong? I have had 3 people check to make sure it's entered right.

check this support article:

Troubleshooting Professional Application Serial Numbers


The most likely reasons:

  • You don't enter your serial number from an Administrator account
  • Confusing look-alike letters
  • Using the number key pad to enter the numbers in the serial number
  • An invalid pro-app system Id file
  • Your serial number is an upgrade key for upgrading from Aperture 1 and you also need to enter the Aperture 1 serial.


Post back, if Aperture still refuses to accept your serial number.
