I tried using ITunes to load an audio book but Ipod shuffled the book segments when played back. What do I have to do to get sequential playback?

Did you place these audiobooks in a separate playlist in iTunes in the desired order and then synced that playlist to the Shuffle?

Okay, so you have the playlist in iTunes with all the tracks from this one audiobook. Did you drag this playlist onto your Shuffle under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes to add it to the Shuffle?
If so, did you navigate to that particular playlist on the Shuffle using VoiceOver and then make sure the playback switch was not set to shuffle?
