Q: Aperture 2 freezing.

Running aperture 2.1.4 on MacBookPro w 4GB RAM running Lion. I imported 75 GB from a referenced folders on a Drobo and all seem to have imported ok, but if I try to use it, it freezes.Have to kill it in the activity monitor. Also Thumbnails seem to be processing constantly?

I've shut it down and restarted numerous times with same results.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Thanks for the suggestion, but no luck. I upgraded to Mountain Lion and it seemed that after several restarts the 'thumbnails' stopped processing. But as soon as I access anything on the toolbar, it would freeze. Then tried some of the points in the support site listed above, but even with Command/Option I couldn't get Aperture open. Only way to shut it down is through the Activity monitor. I then deleted the library completely and even without a library it will load, but hangs as soon as you try to do anything. Very frustrating. AND I can't reinstall because it was purchased from a trial download and version 2.0 is no longer available. So I'm screwed.
