When listening to music on my iPhone 5 with the ear pods, I don't get notified of incoming calls. I only get an alert that a voicemail has been left. What can I do to get incoming calls?
Are you using a customize or the default ringtone? Also have you check that the phone is on ringer and not mute.
If you're using a the default ringtone it could be that the music is louder than the tone.
My calls come thru when listening to my ipod.
The music will be interrupted by the ring. There is no way you could not know the call is coming in unless the call never actually rang on your phone.
Test it by having someone call you both with and without the headphones plugged in. If the phone doesn't ring, but you know you are in the coverage area for you carrier and the phone indicates you have coverage, contact your carrier.
The call I anticipated would have been noted with a custom tone from the list provided on the phone.
The phone did not ring. I only heard the notice of a voicemail received. I will attempt the call test u recommend to see what it yields.
