I purchased iPad 3 two months ago. Now iPad 4 is out and twice as fast. I just wasted 729 dollars? IS nothing going to be done for the loyal apple customers who believed our expensive purchase wouldn't be obsolete in two months? THIS HAS NEVER been apples policy in past to upgrade before a year. Very disappointed

This iPad is in perfect working order, the problem is that it was sold in UK as 4G, and is not compatible with neither UK nor with other European 4G networks... I did not expect this kind of move from apple

I Don't think the iPad 4 will work on your network by that I mean it won't work in 4G LTE have you checked?.
Do you mean the new one? My current devise does not work on LTE 4G in Greece or in UK. The 4rth generation iPad works as they say.
I Know your iPad 3 does not have 4G and the iPad does but have you checked that it will work with your service provider.
Here in the UK we have several service providers 02 vodaphone 3 mobile virgin and EE but the iPad 4 will only work with EE.

If they were going to replace it here in Greece, the new iPad 4rth generation that is currently being sold here in Greece is for sure working on Greek Cosmote (service provider). Probably, if I was bringing replacement model from UK to Greece, then it could be a problem .... Again! Good point, but will they replace it?
TO be honest I doubt Apple will replace it as you really have left it to long to complain.
yes Apple did sell you a iPad that was not 4G and would never work in the UK.
But had been 4G LTE it still would have not worked in your country so sadly your case is very weak I'm afraid.
