I'm with you GAS5Y
I was accused of being greedy earlier, tho I wasn't asking for anything.
My view is that there were probably a couple of things to fix before release, so Apple released v3 without the updates, then a month later "quietly" released v4.
Yes, quick releases is now the new normal....but with loads of fanfare and media hype. The fact is Apple kept this very quiet, and I for one found out by accident. That's not right.

The saving grace from my point of view is that I only paid £200 for the 64gb model with wifi and 3G because its on contract.
So I could stick it on eBay like many others and sell it for £400 and then buy the Samsung Tab2.
I do like the iPad, but I hate being screwed and I am a person of principles. If I decide to sell, Apple will lose my custom forever, and I was about to buy another iPad for my wife.

FYI the Ipad is not a Phone.
Read what I said, and not what you want to read
They have reviews etc many months before a launch, like the iPad Mini, which everyone knew about the product well in advance of the launch.
That's a bunch of rubbish! No one but Apple knew for sure about the iPad mini before the launch. Rumors do not count, and no reviews were performed before the Apple announcement.
The fact that Apple decided to sneak the product on the market at same time without any PR or advertisement just shows how underhand they are.
They didn't try to "sneak" anything on the market troll.
On top of which, the fact that they removed all remnants of the New iPad (3) just compounds the situation.
News flash, With the exception of the iPad 2 ALL companies remove the old versions of products upon new product replacement. Are you from planet Earth?
Even the retailers didn't know until the stock arrived.
Oh so retailers didn't know but somehow (according to you) reviews of the product were already on the net? LOL Pick a delusion and stick with it. FYI retailers never know ahead of time and for GOOD reason!
I won't be buying any other Apple products unless they resolve this issue!

Dude, no reason to worry. The only thing better on the 4 is the A6X processor. The only reason it was released is if any one who had an iPad 2 and wanted to upgrade w/ their new iPhone 5, they would both be with the lightning connector. That's it there's no reason to get mad about it. Because theyre bassically the same thing except one has a faster processor and a lightning connector,

Ill go off andI'm not sure why anyone would continue debating this. The dam broke, the town is flooded, now move on. Anyone who's read my other post s know I'm a Apple fan, but also a PC user. I have a PC, a MacBook Pro, iPad 3 & now trying the Mini.
For those who feel Apple screwed you with iPad 4, not necessarily the case. First, I recently bought a Motorola Droud Razr Maxx. OMG, 4 months later, the Razr M is released. Do I feel cheated. No. My phone does what I need and more.
If You live in the US, your iPad 3 is solid for several years. 3G here isn't going away anytime soon. The big difference between the two, as several have pointed out is the processer. I've compared the 4 to my 3, here in San Francisco fir 2 weeks. There was no discernable difference. The speed while web surfing was totally based on my Verizon connection, not the processor. The screens are the same, size, apps, memory, connectivity, etc.
I have loaded my 3 with Photo Touch, Quick Office Pro, apps galore and I with on my website which I was told you can't build sites using iPad. Eell, you can if you use WordPress and the site I'd on your host server. I just log on and build. Here's what Ive done
I finally got the iPad as these apps are good enough for me on the run without having full version software.
The primary isdue is for this in the UK and EU. The EU is now fully integrating into 4G. Most had 3G, or the equivalent. This issue is while the US is overlapping 3G to 4G, the EU I'd more like a switch. Soon 3G will go off and 4G on. This is what had irked those in the EU. THEIR 3G devices won't whirl on 4G, unless Apple had installed the proper hardware and only a software upgrade will activate it.
That was the car with the early i Phones and iPod Touch. Both had the same antenna, tuner, etc. Its just this with Touch's had to pay for the.

Opps, cut myself off. Anyway, I was in London when my friend bought his iPad 3. Despite what Apple claims and some say here. The clerk told him, his iPad was upgradable to handle the coming 4G. The clerk even called over another to confirm. So, consumers wee being told this.
Apple should have either taken back the 3s, or give a discount when ipad 4 launched. It would have been PR plus. Meanwhile, iPad 3s here in the US, used, are selling for $500-$600 on Ebay, plenty of buyers. Do if you feel jaded sell it and buy a new one.
As for Mini, truth is, its an early child. The Kindle Fire HD specs are far better. Amazon did the research and listen to its fans and the market in general. That's why they released s 8.9" i think Apple should have waited and gone straight to 8.9" I don't know anyone trading down ipad to Mini, but most I know would for an 8.9"

friend, My ipad just bought 5 days before launch. How do you feel about it if you are me? I only agree you if the new product come out one month later. If you know new Ipad will launch next month. Are you going to buy old one with full price? For us, It is very simple. If less than a month, the customer will get some rebate or voucher. Unfortunately, buying for authorization apple store do not have rebate or return due to their fool customer policy. So that I will never buy apple with those shop due to their policy. Are you sure only processor improvement? How about LTE, Retina screen and weight? Mostly Apple launch new ios version will impact old ipad like battery operation time decrease alot. By the way, why Iphone 5 still not come out to Malaysia. A lot of my friend own an iphone but buying Samsung Galaxy due to Iphone 5 still not coming out. Singapore Iphone5 sell very expensive in Malaysia. If this month iphone 5 still not come out. I am going to support Samsung. Another reason, some website mention Iphone 5 going to become old and Iphone 5s will come out soon just a few month later.

I'd probably feel pretty stupid, considering the fact that Apple allows returns for up to 14 days and you still kept it.

There is no question about Apple over pricing the iPhone, and many are upset about it, but it is their phone to lose sales on if they want to. Nothing you can do about that but buy something else. Apple charges almost 900.00 for a unlocked iPhone 5 (that will be outdated in a few months). If I had 900.00 to spend I could buy a lot of things, and choosing one phone would not be it, I don't care who makes it. This is precisly why they are losing so much valuable market share to android BUT if that's what they want to do then so be it. It is true that you will get a much better value by switching to a different phone eco system, but you should also be aware that samslum just announced the SGIII and now several months later they are coming out with a replacement - the SG4, so the same quick product refreshing happens with samslum too.

"My ipad just bought 5 days before launch. How do you feel about it if you are me?"
Not so bad, because I would have returned it to Apple within the 15-day period.
"Are you going to buy old one with full price?"
"If less than a month, the customer will get some rebate or voucher."
No, that's not how it happens.
"buying for authorization apple store do not have rebate or return due to their fool customer policy."
You're confusing "foolish customer" with "foolish customer policy". The Apple store will allow return of products within 15 days.
"I will never buy apple with those shop due to their policy."
"A lot of my friend own an iphone but buying Samsung Galaxy due to Iphone 5 still not coming out."
"I am going to support Samsung."
"some website mention Iphone 5 going to become old and Iphone 5s will come out soon just a few month later."
After that, an iPhone 6, then an iPhone 7, then an...you get the point.
