I'm looking to buy my mom a new ipod for christmas because she has one of the old ipod shuffles from years ago and the space gets filled way to fast. Also she's recently discovered pandora on my ipod touch and likes to listen to that while she works out. She loves to just be able to clip the ipod on to her like the shuffles so i was wondering if the 6th generation iPod nanos have wifi so she can access Pandora at the gym?
I was looking for an answer to to the same question. My search for it tells me the iPod nanos 6th or 7th gen are not compatible with 3rd party apps. It just come preloaded with a few of the apple apps that you can use on it. Like the FM radio, photo viewer etc. So to anwer your Q one cannot use Pandora on a nano.

Hi, Will the nano 7th gen, be able to recieve bluetooth information sent to it via a iphone 4s? Reason being, to keep the phone in my pocket/bench top but having headphones with out the connecting cable to the phone and still able to take calls.....I see bluetooth headphone receivers around but they dont have track names, caller ID displayed. Or does anybody know of a bluetooth headphone reciver device that will display caller ID and track names compatible with a iphone 4s? Thanks for any help
Neither the 6th nor the 7th Generation Nano have WiFi. They both have FM radios and the 7th Generation has Bluetooth.
