Can my ipod ever work again?
I was testing my new subwoffer and my ipod classic hit the magnet. There's no display or anything. Can my ipod ever be fixed? Thinks a ton.-Rainshine

You may need to replace the hard drive. Either way, that had to be one powerful magnet to do any damage to the iPod's hard drive.
Did you try to reset the iPod? To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Well I need that music off my hardrive. If not I will accept it. Not very happily though. It wont even show display. I know this was because my ignorant actions. But it would mean a lot
Have you plugged the iPod in and left it to charge for at least 30 minutes and then tried to reset it again?

Still nothing. Anything else?
Probably not a good sign. You'll likely need to send or take the iPod in for repair/replacement either through Apple or a third party service perhaps even one local to your area.
