Cannot verify server identity

Hi
I have got this problem. I get the following message in safari in MBP, iphone and ipad, all running latest ios

"Cannot Verify Server Identity
SAfari cannot verify the identity of "static.ak.facebook.com". Would you like to continue anyway?"
Options : Cancel, Details, Continue

I choose cancel all the time because it seems suspicious but i get it like every 5 minutes, so what should i do ? I have already reset Safari on my MBP but i keep getting it

Also i have not turned on facebook within any of the three devices.

I am also getting it on my Mac and Iphone 4... It just worries me that the security on my devices is in jeapordy?

weird all of a suddent it stopped popping up for me. did this happen for anybody else?

Yes same for me, and am starting to see this reponse on other threads, so whatever it is is going away.... hope it does not return!

It stopped for me as well - i opened like 50 pages on all devices - didnt get it even once - so i guess it has been fixed.

However, what worries me is that i have absolutely no idea what it was. So can anyone provide any sort of information about this?

I agree this is quite disturbing although it seems to be pretty universal... And has stopped recently. Hopefully that means our security wasn't compromised?

It is not popping up any longer, but I do NOT consider this FIXED!!

I need an explination on WHY it is needing certification, what information is being transmitted behind the scenes. This needs to be addressed now. Completely unaccepatable that simply because it is now trusted again it is no longer "Putting my confidential information at risk".......

Need answers now.

I had this issue too with my iphone5. I guess it might be caused I tried to copy a link from Google chrome / Safari (a photo link) to my buddies comment in the Facebook app Comment, when this started happening. I think it has something to do with integrating Facebook with other copied links or items. Try this out hopefully this helps because it seems to have stopped for me.

(Please note this was done with an iPhone)

--> Ensure no links/ or odd texts are currently set in your copy hold

--> in notepad type something and copy it (this will hold a non-glitch text?? )

--> log out of Facebook

--> close all browser apps ( Safari / Google chrome)

--> in settings clear history and clear cookies and data

--> close all apps (double tap home and [x] all the open programs)

--> reset/ turn off your phone

--> turn on your phone and open up a browser and try a website.
