I have never heard of either of them. There is no adequate substitute for iDVD for burning video files made in iMovie to a DVD - even though Apple don't want you to.
I agree with Klaus1 entirely. There's nothing available for the Mac that comes anywhere close to iDVD for ease of use and quality of the final product. So until iDVD no longer works with the Mac OS operating system I'd continue to use it.
If you don't already have iDVD you'll need to purchase the iLife 11 disc from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com: iLife 11.
