How can I get my new 10.8 macs to view legacy postscript fonts?

I've recently upgraded 3 work stations and I've come across a compatibility issue with the Windows Server connected via smb.

The 2 new machines, an Intel iMac i7 and a Mac Pro Xeon Tower, both shipped with OSX 10.8. When they are connected to the Windows Server (Small Business 2011) via smb all the legacy postscript fonts view as 0Kb.

The 3rd machine is an Intel iMac i5, but the OS was originally 10.6. It had been modified using the terminal commands from this support page :-

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4017?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

The subsequent OS upgrades to 10.7 and 10.8 haven't broken the legacy files when connected to the Windows Server on this MAC.

I've tried running the terminal commands on one of the new machines but it doesn't work. Has anyone come across this and have you solution please.

OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
