How to Upgrad from Leopard to Snow Leopard?

I am a little behind on my upgrades. Still running 10.5.8 (Leopard). I have finally decided to upgrade to Moutain Lion. My first question is how do I get Snow Leopard? As I have heard that you have to get Snow Leopard before you can upgrade to any other OSX. My other question is do i need to upgrade to Lion before I can upgrade to Mountain Lion?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8), MacBookPro4,1

You can buy OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard by calling the Apple online store, which in the US is at 800-MY-APPLE. Install it, do Software Updates, and when done you'll be at OS X 10.6.8. Once there, you can access the App store and go directly to Mountain Lion - you do not need to upgrade to Lion to get Mountain Lion.

Make sure you have at least 2GB of memory, although 4GB is recommended. MacBook Pro's mid/late 2007 and newer can upgrade to Mountain Lion.
