Is there a way to listen to a podcast with a Plantronics Pro bluetooth devise? It works fine for phone calls but I can't find a set up for music and podcasts.

You have to find out what Bluetooth profiles the device supports. You will find out what protocols the iPhone supports here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647.
The devise is supported and as my post said the phone to headset works fine.
Not all devices support music, just because it will support a phone conversation. Check the manufacturer's web site for information about the device and see if it will support a protocol other than phone calls.
